Founded in 2000, the Suter Consulting company is based in Berne, with a branch office in Lausanne. The company's founder, Dr. Jean-Marc Suter, physicist, Ph. D., studied at the University of Lausanne. His partner, Eliane Fedrigo, is a freelance consultant with commercial background and a degree in operational management.
With 37 years of overall experience in the field of energy, Dr. Jean-Marc Suter was managing a team of researchers at the Swiss national research centre (presently, the Paul Scherrer Institute in Aargau) and taught physics. Dr. Suter has remained active as a teacher of renewable energies since 1984, speaks 4 languages and has greatly contributed to produce and translate many detailed technical manuals.
Thanks to his long experience, he has acquired a solid knowledge in written communication in the field of energy. Recognised for his high quality standards in technical and scientific documentation, Dr. Suter has earned an excellent industry reputation. He is currently Chairman of the Swiss Technical Committee for standardisation of solar energy and was also responsible for communication of a 5-year research programme within the International Energy Agency (IEA). In addition, he acts as a mediator on an international level.
Being in possession of both the Swiss and Italian nationalities, Eliane Fedrigo studied in Lausanne. Graduated of 'Ecole supérieure de commerce', she worked as a secretary after a training course of one year in London; she was Executive Secretary in international companies and responsible for organising trips and seminars. She attended several courses in the field of communication (PNL, marketing/sales). Speaking 5 languages, she considers customer service as a top priority.
Eliane Fedrigo particularly feels at ease in relational management (optimisation of organisational structures, project management, negotiations), in the organisation of business seminars, in human resources and in information technology. Thanks to her 34 years' experience, she has acquired a solid background in all administrative tasks related to SME (small and medium sized enterprises). Dynamic and communicative, she is recognised for the quality of her work, her performance and her efficiency, as she is flexible to fit the needs of any particular situation.
